Dhanraj is the one the best hockey player in hockey game and his contribution achieved many success in more number of matches,he is excellent in saving penalty corners and he is one the youngest hockey player in the indian team.Born in Pune on 16th july 1968 ,he is the only indian to represent the country in 3 olympics,3 world cups and 4 international games.



He mostly played on center forward to won the game in many matches.Dhanraj made a international debut in the asia cup held in New Delhiin 1989 .He was awarded as the Arjuna award in 1995 ,the rajiv gandhi khel ratna award in 1999 and the padma shri award in 2000.

He was a member of the indian team which won the gold medal in the bangkok asian games in dec 1998.He works as a assistant manger in indian airlines.He was toured in the indian team to europe,australai ,singapore and malaysia.
