Rajinikanth is the living legend of Indian cinema.His next film Robot will be the most expensive film ever made in India. The budget of this Shankar directed sci-fi entertainer is said to be a cool Rs 125 crore!. Leading integrated Tamil media & entertainment company Ayngaran International, which is an Eros International company, announces the production of Shankar's 'Robot', starring superstar Rajnikanth.
After the grand success of 'Shivaji', Tamil film industry's most popular star, Rajnikanth, talented director, Shankar, and music maestro, A. R. Rahman, are coming together once again in the much anticipated 'Robot'.
Endhiran, the Robot', the tenth film by S.Shankar, stars Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead. Rajnikanth reportedly plays a double role i the movie – as scientist Vaseegaran and as the robot developed by him. The film, expected to cost a whopping Rs 180 crore, may turn out to be the costliest film in India. AR Rahman composes the music for which he would be paid Rs 10 crore, it is rumoured.
The film was originally supposed to be produced by Ayngaran International, who backed out of the film midway through. Now, the film is being produced by Sun Pictures. The robot made in Rajnikanth's likeness and the futuristic costumes esigned for the superstar have already become the rage among cinegoers.
